Jeffrey H. Silberman
President & CEO

In 2004, Jeff Silberman became president and CEO of Carleton Management, Inc., his family’s real estate investment, management and development business.

Jeff was previously affiliated as a business lawyer with the San Diego law firm of Solomon Ward Seidenwurm & Smith. He joined the firm in 1986, became a partner in 1989, and became its youngest managing partner in 2000, a position he held for three years.

In 1979, Jeff graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with honors, in economics, and earned his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1982, where he was a member of the UCLA-Alaska law review.

Jeff is a graduate of The Wexner Heritage Foundation leadership program. In the community, Jeff is the Past-Chair of the board of the Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego and Past-Chair of the board of the Francis Parker School, where he was the 4th recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award. He is also past president of the board of Congregation Beth Israel, served as the chair of its Sesquicentennial Endowment Campaign and was the recipient of the Carl M. Esenoff Memorial Award for Extraordinary Community Service. Jeff currently serves on the board and executive committee, as Chair, of the University of California San Diego Foundation, where he and his wife Karen were the recipients of the Chancellor’s Medal. Jeff also serves on the board and is President of Seacrest Holdings Corp. and serves on the board of the National Conflict Resolution Center.

Jeff was born and raised in San Diego, the youngest of three children. Jeff and his wife Karen have four children.
